Carl A. Rasmussen is a certified Physicians Assistant (PA-C). He was born in San Francisco, California but later moved to Illinois. In 1972 he graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a B.S. in Education. Carl went on to receive his B. S. in Nursing from Emory University in 1975. He has been working as a PA-C since 1981.
Carl was a senior P.A. for a large cardiovascular surgery group for 25 years. He has been a group facilitator for the Tennessee Nurses Peer Assistant Program since 2002. Carl is also Regional Monitor for the Tennessee Medical Foundation. He has been a Genetic High Risk Coordinator for KCBC since 2002.
Carl has been married for 29 years and has three grown children.
