Knoxville, TN – Bikers will roll out their bikes on Saturday, June 10th for the inaugural Rowden Ride. All proceeds from the motorcycle ride will benefit the Kim Rowden Breast Cancer Memorial Fund which provides financial assistance to women who might not otherwise
have a mammogram.

Registration will be at Rodgers Cadillac on Kingston Pike from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Breakfast will be provided by Big Daddy’s and pink bandanas will be given to all the participants. The ride will leave Rodgers at 11:00 AM and travel through Oak Ridge, Clinton, Powell and end at Coyote Joes on Clinton Highway. The Blue Knights, which is comprised of Knoxville Police Department officers, will lead the procession as well as officers from the Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Anderson County Police.

Knoxville Harley-Davidson and Rodgers Cadillac are the presenting sponsors who are providing a new Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 as the grand prize. The bike has been custom painted by Maxx Muscle and you must be present to win it.

Former NASCAR Champion Rusty Wallace was in Knoxville recently to produce some television commercials and autographed a jacket and some hats to be auctioned off. U. T. Coach Phillip Fulmer has also autographed some memorabilia to raise money for the Kim Rowden Breast Cancer Memorial Fund.

The Rowden Ride is open to the public and over 400 bikers are expected to attend. There is a $25.00 donation fee per bike and no charge for an additional rider. The event is sponsored by Knoxville Harley-Davidson, Rodgers Cadillac, Knoxville Comprehensive Breast Center, WIVK, and Handle Bars Magazine.
