Who Should Be Evaluated?
Anyone with a Personal or Family History of:
- Breast Cancer < 50 years Old
- Ovarian Cancer Any Age
- Bilateral Breast Cancer Any Age
- Both Breast and Ovarian Cancer Any Age
- Male Breast Cancer Any Age
- Ashkenazi Jewish Ancestry with Breast/Ovarian Cancer Any Age
- Triple Negative Breast Cancer < Age 60
- Colorectal Cancer < Age 50
- Endometrial (uterine) Cancer < Age 50
- Colonic Polyposis Any Age > 10 Cumulative Polyps
- Melanoma in >3 Close Relatives< Age 50
- Personal History of LCIS (Lobular Carcinoma in Situ)
- Personal History of ADH (Atypical Ductal Hyperplasia)
At Knoxville Comprehensive Breast Center, we offer breast cancer risk assessment and genetic counseling through our High Risk Assessment Clinic. Patients may be referred for high-risk screening by a physician or may call the KCBC directly (self referral) to set up an appointment.
