With the results of new research, imaging and the development of chemoprevention therapy, women who may feel that they are at high risk for developing breast cancer can be evaluated at our high-risk center. A woman can choose to be evaluated to determine if she is at high risk. She can then make an informed decision about gene testing, MRI imaging, and the chemoprevention as well as prophylactic surgery. Knowledge is empowering and can provide lasting peace of mind.
