Dr. Forsberg graduated Princeton with a degree in biology, and studied for his medical degree at Duke University Medical School where he was chief resident from 1990-1991.
Dr. Forsberg moved to Knoxville in 1995 and has been happy to be able to practice medicine in such a beautiful part of the state of Tennessee. He has practiced breast radiology since 1999, and is a member of the American College of Radiology as well as an honorary member of the Chicago Radiology Society and the Korean Radiology Society.
In 2013 Dr. David Forsberg joined the KCBC team of clinical breast radiologists.
My best memory is when the Dr Forsberg told me my problem was not cancer. I could have just kissed him. Y'all are so awesome and helpful.
The kindness and caring of the staff during my core biopsy is what impressed me. Everyone was concerned that I was there by myself when the solid mass was found. Dr. Forsberg was wonderful and he made sure to contact me the next day with the results. The biopsy came back positive for cancer, but Dr. Forsberg was so positive and reassuring, especially when he said "We're going to get it out and get you cured." He already had a surgical consultation scheduled for me so that everything could be taken care of very quickly.
